Bio

 

Fay & Latta are an Anglo-Irish duo based in Yorkshire, UK comprised of Tom Fay on guitar & Anneka Latta on vocals. The duo released their fifth original studio album, Beneath The Skyline in February 2021 after writing and recording songs during the 2020 UK lockdown.

 

Prior to the pandemic, the duo won Best Acoustic Act in the national finals of the Book Entertainment Event Awards 2019 and their original music features in numerous mainstream TV series, independent movies and jukeboxes around the world. Their fourth studio album, Synchronicity was also included in the British Airways ‘High Life’ in-flight entertainment system.

 

On the live scene, the Yorkshire duo have opened to sell-out festival crowds and for numerous successful artists such as; Toploader, The Hoosiers and Blue October to name but a few. They often perform at grassroots venues across the UK and continue to expand their online community with interactive live-streamed performances of original and cover songs; sharing their love of music with others and establishing an ever-growing loyal community of followers who have fondly named themselves the ‘Flatta Fam’.

 

​Fay & Latta originally released their first debut album The View From Here in 2011 with the title track landing a placement in the TV series Heartland, followed by a second studio album in 2012 entitled Beauty In Chaos which features legendary E.L.O violinist Mik Kaminski on his blue violin. The pair followed this with another album, Dust To Stars in 2017, featuring Leeds based singer-songwriter, Wilson; Synchronicity in 2019 and the 2021 album Beneath The Skyline.
